The first time I met this couple I knew we would work well together. This is very important to me in my business. My job is to take a few of your thoughts and turn your space into a masterpiece, within budget, and proper function. I then work along side as it comes to life.....from beginning to the end. :)

This kitchen had no proper storage, wasted space, lack of proper lighting, no work space, and was outdated.........

BEFORE:

A brand new LARGE galley kitchen was going in! In order to make this happen the wall between the eat in kitchen and the separate dining room needed to come down to give this space proper function.

Then everything else came down! :)

Up with the NEW!!!!

New pot lighting throughout and on segregated dimmers.

We put all new waterproof durable flooring throughout the whole main floor.

Up goes the Cabinetry! :) ....... We even lend a helping hand. ;)

When I designed this space I made sure I tried to "fill" all their "wants".

- light and bright

-lots of counter space....and workable space

- PROPER storage

-space for the whole family

-a style that is.....TIMELESS

I think I nailed it!!!!!!

We added some "bling" in the dining area with this chandelier. New paint, and all new flooring and trim.

There is no longer any wainscotting that was throughout the main level.

Our galley kitchen on the left side (your back to the dining area) starts off with a simplistic glass lite hutch to display items. I kept the microwave down low to give more counter space and height above to give more of an open feel. The fridge was place in its new location to give more room to move in the kitchen while working but also to give dimension mid cabinetry on this wall. A large work space is off to the right of the fridge with tons of drawers and cabinets beautifully finished with all trimming and fillers. After the door way is the "docking/life" station. A space to keep paper work, calendars, reminders, and to charge electronic devices.

We were dealing with some duct work that was not moveable at the end of this galley kitchen by the patio door.

So.......

We created a "life/docking station"🙂. We matched the cabinetry with the rest of the kitchen. We gave it feet instead to make it more of a piece of furniture. Doing this it gave the space for the duct work and working it into the design in a positive way.👍

The right side of the galley kitchen starts out with the cutlery etc. drawers and table dish cupboard close to the table and close to the new location of the dishwasher. :) The large drawer pull out for garbage and recycle is on the left of the sink. I left the cooking area feeling very open around the stove with no upper cabinets, but lots of drawers for cooking utensils.

The left side counter area is a great "prep" area. With lots of drawers, no upper cabinets, lots of counter space, it almost feels like an island.

The detail to space is SO important.

We finished this little area with a nice stainless shelf with natural greenery. A high clean backsplash with a nice crisp stainless edging.

To the left of this area and the end of the right side of the galley kitchen is a bank of three pantries. We had to work around that duct work again so we custom fit fillers through out the whole kitchen where needed.

We continued the flooring throughout the main floor so we carried new paint colour, the new trim and baseboards throughout the living area and a new vanity etc in the two piece bathroom.

I can't thank these clients enough for putting there trust in me, giving me endless giggles, and never ending smiles along the way, even throughout the "regular reno hiccups".

We put together this beautiful timeless galley kitchen with attention to detail and function all while staying within budget. :)
