Meeting Natalie.......

It was swimming lesson day at our home on this cold March day..... as Jerry waits in the lobby for us "girls" to come out of the change room he sees this and takes a picture for a reminder of a super cool FREE activity to do ......

We tossed the idea back and forth for a few days as we were feeling the sluggish winter blues even with being a VERY active family.......in the end we went, had a blast, and meet some super AMAZING people!

We entered a few contest with my business card, and chatted up a storm(which is never hard for us ;) )! I few days later I received a phone call that we won this gift basket! (which I'm saving to open on the final reveal day!)

Then off we go to sunny California to explore and visit my sista........

When we arrive back home I had a message waiting from Natalie's office manager that they would like me to come down and look at, and quote the design of their new office! They already had half a dozen designers down and were just waiting on me before making a decision. As "jet legged" as I was from a "red eye" flight and a three hour time change, I jumped in the shower after that flight and dragged my butt straight down there that same day.

I walked in the door explained my "jet leg" and my "design story", along with what I could offer them.....home a went to put together my quote. Within a few days I received an email that started like this:

"Hi Terri! Hi Jerry!

I'm writing to let you know that Natalie, Sharvin, and I unanimously agreed that we would like you as our interior designers for the office redesign project! :)....."

I cried...I was and still am so honoured to have been chosen...... Why did they pick me over the other more experienced designers???? I'm the "newbie"......???

So I asked.....

My vision, and passion for proper function with beauty in a space was their reason along with my love for retro fitting. They said I was the one who came in with tons of ideas and LOVE work with existing...... I was the only one who wanted to "retro fit". ( and that! as I'm sure you noticed is my passion!)

Natalie- "Meeting you has changed my world. Your attitude and drive in life I look up to. You're attention and love for people is amazing. Anyone who has you as their real estate agent, friend, or family should be, and I'm sure are as honoured to have you in their life as I am. Thank you for being you and choosing me! Thank you for making me part of " The Kesh Group".

Now lets many my drawing come to life! (I will post drawing and finished space together when all is done.)
