Thank you Melissa!

Melissa came looking to pick my brain for a few ideas. She had just bought an older two story home that had some previous renos done to it but still needed a slight update. She came to me wanting my opinion on how to update and change an odd shaped island in her kitchen and help give advise on details for the master bath they were creating from a walking in closet.

Kitchen before:

She wanted new lighter counters...my suggestion was to reshape the island to a rectangle and off set the colour....charcoal grey island changed this kitchen a lot!

"Terri was an absolutely wonderful person to consult with about doing renovations to our kitchen and building a new bathroom. She is a very energetic and vibrant person who gets you excited about your project. She gave me some great ideas for our kitchen including offsetting the colour of our island (we ended up doing it in a gray and it looks fabulous!) She also suggested for our 5x10 bathroom to consider floating the cabinets and vanity. We ended up going with this idea and it definitely maximizes the space and makes the room seem bigger than it is. We coupled the white cabinets and tile with a dark Benjamin Moore Iron Mountain paint that really gives it a wow factor.
