Helping Dr. B.

Unfortunately, Dr. B received some shabby tile work. So not cool. There were unlevel tiles, horribly spaced grout lines, cut tiles that look like they tried to be reconnected, lots of grout missing and falling out, I could go on!...and it was only done a few years ago! This job I not only designed but I decided to take on the work with my trusty side kick and love of my love, Jerry.

Time for me to work some magic! I redesigned the hall wall to make it light and bright, did a full two piece bathroom gut, and did a slight makeover of the upper main bathroom to make it more modern and give it a clean lined look. Everything was dark, including the lighting. Stuck in the 70's/80's. I was working with an older couple where change is hard due to medical issues, How do I help this couple? Ripping up this tile was not the best choice. I found a product that was 100% waterproof, amazing quality, and eliminated the horrible transitions from the hall to the kitchen and the hall to the living room! We leveled the floor to take away the terrible dips, made sure everything was solid and away we went!

With some new lighting, proper paint colour (now the living room hardwoods next to the hall no longer look orange but the proper golden colour!), the hallway looked huge!

Please read next post to see Dr. B's completed bathrooms!
