Natalie and Dave's great room :)

Winter of 2016/2017 I met this wonderful couple that came to me and stated "We have no vision can you help?!" I was excited, I was eager, I was scared! This would be one of my first BIGGER design jobs for someone that wasn't close knitted to my family .....

A new beam was already put in to open it up the main level of this side split home when I walked into this half gutted main level. After observing, and getting to know this couple through many conversations I knew what "I thought" this family needed.

After drawing up my design, I spent hours (with my favorite side kick, my hubby) collecting and matching up floor, cabinet, counter, and back splash samples. After putting together, what I thought was the perfect combination of products I was ready to present my space design with product samples. With the advice of "side kick hubby" I left all other samples in the car and only brought in what I put together. If they wanted to see more samples I would bring them in. I didn't want to overwhelm them.

I was nervous, what if they hate it! In I went, and showed them what design I put together and what products I felt would suit them. I also had them met my favorite cabinet maker.

THEY LOVED IT! They did not want to see any other products! They went with my favorite cabinet maker and the process was started!

I left and did a happy cry as soon as I hit the car.

I just walked in to seeing this a few weeks back. I almost fell to the floor! I did it! I designed what I just walked into:

Now the uppers have not yet been installed. I can't wait, as I'm sure you now can't also wait to see the final finished product!
