HUGE change!!!!

Jerry and Terri's main floor of their back split was a huge change! The gut started June of last year (2016) and took a good 6 months to complete.

Lots of detail was put into this design to ensure proper function. I wanted to make sure it wasn't JUST "pretty".

I found a small, local, reasonably priced, "true" custom cabinet maker that has talent. He is very hard working, and believes in good quality! Beautiful dove tailed drawers, amazing quality, and not one hinge is "made in china"! We worked so well that he is now my main "go to" referral for cabinets and I help design his clients spaces! :) So much fun!

Proper flow from sink, to dishwasher, to fridge, to stove, to counter is SO important! The basement deep freezer was kicked to the curb (who wants to run down the stairs multiple times a day, right!) and a full fridge/full freezer fit this kitchen perfect! A "clean" sink for washing food was placed in the island, a safe, environmentally friendly, quick cooking induction stove was put in the island with a down draft to keep the space feeling open and large with no over head vents or hanging light fixtures, all LED dim-able pot lights, placed strategically around the now open concept grate room.

This Urban Cultivator is one of two top things (other being full fridge/full freezer) wanted for this kitchen. Who wouldn't want to grow fresh herbs and micro greens. Store bought lettuces and greens are a thing of the past in this house now! :)

This "house' has now turned into a beautiful "home" for this family! With paying extra attention to every detail this space now has a "fabulous design with FUNCTION!"
